• Before the measurement, relax by sitting in a chair in a quiet environment for about 10 minutes.
• Always take measurements on the same arm (usually the left), regularly, at the same time every day, because blood pressure changes throughout the day.

Putting on the cuff

• Place the end of the air tube firmly in the hole on the left side of the pressure gauge.
• Place the end of the cuff under the metal cuff buckle, with the Velcro side facing out.
• Remove any tight clothing from the arm where we are taking the measurement.
• Place the cuff about 2-3 cm above the elbow. For best results, place the cuff on your bare arm, at heart level.
