Description
Powdered food for special medical purposes based on highly purified hydrolyzed whey protein isolate, inositol, branched-chain amino acids and vitamin D in the form of cholecalciferol (vitamin D3).
Daily intake of an adequate amount of whey protein (20 g) is useful for maintaining lean mass. Dixypro HP hydrolyzed whey protein isolate, obtained through highly purified enzymatic hydrolysis, has a very high biological value and is faster to digest, resulting in reduced gastric side effects. Intake of rapidly absorbed proteins, such as hydrolyzed whey protein, represents a certain advantage in terms of preserving lean mass, compared to slow-absorbing proteins. Dixypro HP WPH-90 is easily digestible, low in lactose, has a high biological value, and is rapidly assimilated. Unlike other amino acids, branched-chain amino acids (leucine, isoleucine, and valine) are metabolized in skeletal muscle. At rest, these 3 amino acids have an anabolic effect that helps preserve skeletal muscle. According to scientific literature, the average daily intake is 40 mg in a 2:1:1 ratio. Various studies have reported the important relationship between vitamin D, in the form of cholecalciferol (known as vitamin D3), and muscle function. Low vitamin D levels, in particular, cause greater loss of lean mass and muscle strength. Inositol is a water-soluble molecule and is therefore well tolerated. Known primarily for its use in ovarian and metabolic dysfunction in women, it has been shown to be effective in mediating insulin and therefore neurometabolic function.

Whey protein hydrolysate from isolate (WPH-90); emulsifier: sunflower lecithin; inositol; thickener: xanthan gum; sodium chloride; sweetener: sucralose; L-leucine, cholecalciferol (vitamin D), L-isoleucine, L-valine; lubricant: magnesium salts of fatty acids.

How to use
The dose and duration of treatment are individual and are determined by the doctor based on the patient's specific needs. The recommended dosage is 1 sachet (25 g) per day, dissolved in 200 ml of water, milk, a plant-based drink, or other liquid.

It should not be administered parenterally. There are no known side effects associated with this product; avoid use in cases of known hypersensitivity.
