UniGel® APOTEX PROCTO is intended to support the healing of acute and chronic wounds of the rectal mucosa in patients with fissures and hemorrhoids, including patients after Barron's ligation. Moreover, to reduce bleeding in patients with indications of bleeding hemorrhoids and to eliminate unpleasant sensations (discomfort), especially burning and itching in the anus.

Composition:

UniGel® APOTEX PROCTO is a white torpedo-shaped suppository containing HEMA HAS copolymer powder and adeps solidus.

Target group:

Suppositories are intended for adult patients. Consult a physician before use on children, pregnant women and nursing women.

In the case of rectal disease, it is especially important to take care of hygiene and take care of regular stools. Therefore, it is necessary to drink a sufficient amount of fluids, eat a slightly spicy diet and increase your fiber intake.

Instructions for use:

• Suppositories are inserted into the anus, preferably after stool and after washing, with the rounded end in the anus.
• At the puncture point, separate a suppository from the tape, tear the package with a gentle pull and remove the suppository from it.
• With the rounded end forward, insert it deep into the anus, preferably in a slight forward bend.
• If the doctor does not prescribe otherwise, the UniGel® APOTEX PROCTO suppository is inserted once a day, preferably at night.

In case of adverse reactions, stop the treatment and contact the attending physician. Protect yourself from children!! Do not use after the expiry date written on the packaging. The expiration date refers to the last day of the month. Return unused or expired product to the pharmacy.

Use the preparation max. 30 days. The manufacturer recommends that if the difficulties do not disappear within 7 days or if they get worse, consult a doctor. The suppository is intended for single use and application to the anus. Do not apply to other body openings. Don't think too much about it. People with increased sensitivity may experience slight itching or burning in the anus, which is not a problem, but should be consulted with a doctor.
