Battle Above Lava in the Nether (21266) is a small LEGO® Minecraft® set that offers a build-and-play version of the popular video game. This customizable Minecraft activity set includes popular figures from the game, fun features and endless action, making it the perfect gift for kids ages 6 and up.

Kids join Minecraft action hero Alex on a mission to remove ancient debris from a section of the fortress bridge in the Crimson Forest of the Nether. When the debris is cleared away, lava elements automatically cascade down, and Minecraft figurines—a decrepit skeleton wielding a stone sword and a whirlwind spinning rods—get in the way of Alex's escape. Kids use the iconic diamond sword to fight the mobs, then run away on another Minecraft figure, a strider, which has jointed legs and a saddle. Minecraft players know that they have to get a warped mushroom to be able to wield the strider. For added digital fun, the LEGO Builder app lets kids zoom in and rotate 3D models using their devices.
