Lapis Devil's Stone is a wart removal stick.

The active ingredient in this medical device is silver nitrate, which effectively supports the healing of skin lesions. Silver nitrate stick (Stilus Argenti Nitrici) is used as an adjunct in the treatment of certain viral skin lesions: common warts and genital warts.

Indications: 

• This product is used as an adjunct in the treatment of certain viral skin lesions: common warts (verrucae vulgares) and genital warts (condylomata acuminata)
• It supports the healing process, accelerating granulation and epithelialization.

Ingredients:

The stick contains 97 parts silver nitrate, 3 parts potassium nitrate.

How to use:

• Before first and each use, wear safety glasses (Wearing protective gloves is also recommended)
• Remove the protective cap from the product
• Remove the thin, colored paraffin layer that protects the stick from atmospheric moisture. Very gently scrape the colored layer of green paraffin from the tip of the stick to a length of approximately 3-4 mm with a sharp knife, taking care not to damage the stick. Do not inhale the dust
• Carefully rub the stick over the wart (verruca) in circular motions for a few seconds. The natural moisture of the affected area will begin to react with the silver nitrate after a few minutes, resulting in a blackening of the area
• After 24 hours of application, you can accelerate healing by removing the black spot, for example, by grinding with a pumice stone. Repeat this procedure until the wart disappears completely
• After each application, protect the stick from airborne moisture by quickly replacing the protective cap.

Contraindications:

• Do not use in conjunction with other wart treatment products. Do not use on children under 4 years of age
• Do not apply to moles, dark spots, freckles, watery warts, or seborrheic keratosis
• This product is intended for external use only
• Store in a dry place at a temperature between 15-25 degrees Celsius
• Keep out of the reach and sight of children
• Consult a doctor before using the stick on children
• Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have other medical conditions, or if you have any doubts about the type of wart.

Warnings:

• Do not allow the stick to come into contact with healthy skin
• Do not apply to lesions around the eyes
• Do not apply the product to mucous membranes or areas with a high blood supply
• The product may stain clothing
• In case of accidental eye contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water. Continue rinsing for 10 minutes and seek medical attention
• In case of accidental skin contact, wash with soap and water and remove any contamination from clothing. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
