Indications:
NEDIS is used for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (e.g. heartburn, acid regurgitation) in adults.
Reflux is the backflow of acid from the stomach into the esophagus (the "gullet"), which can become inflamed and painful. This can cause symptoms such as a painful burning sensation in the chest that rises up into the throat (heartburn) and a sour taste in the mouth (acid regurgitation).

Composition:
The active substance is pantoprazole. Each gastro-resistant tablet contains 20 mg pantoprazole (as pantoprazole sodium sesquihydrate).
The other ingredients are: core - mannitol, anhydrous sodium carbonate, crospovidone, hydroxypropylcellulose, talc, calcium stearate, protective layer 1 - Zein F 4000, methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1), gastro-resistant layer 2 - methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1), triethyl citrate, titanium dioxide, talc, film - hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), polyethylene glycol 400, yellow iron oxide (E 172) and printing ink - shellac, black iron oxide (E 172), ammonium hydroxide 28%.

Method of administration:
Take one tablet per day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose of 20 mg pantoprazole.
You should take this medicine for at least 2-3 consecutive days. Stop taking NEDIS after your symptoms have completely disappeared. You may experience an improvement in your symptoms of acid reflux and heartburn after just one day of treatment with NEDIS, but this medicine is not designed to provide immediate relief.
If your symptoms do not improve after taking this medicine continuously for 2 weeks, contact your doctor.
Do not use NEDIS tablets for more than 4 weeks without consulting your doctor.
Take the tablet before a meal, at the same time each day. You should swallow the tablet whole, with some water. Do not chew or break the tablet.
Children and adolescents:
NEDIS should not be used by children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Contraindications:
Do not use NEDIS
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to pantoprazole or any of the other ingredients of NEDIS.
- if you are taking a medicine containing atazanavir (for the treatment of HIV infection)
- if you are under 18 years of age 2
- if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Precautions:
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription. This also includes herbal or homeopathic remedies.

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:
You should not take this medicine if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Driving and using machines:
If you experience side effects such as dizziness or visual disturbances, you should not drive or use machines.
