It belongs to a class of drugs known as antihistamines.
It is used for:

Do not use Oriens if:
- you are allergic to dimenhydrinate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
ORIENS should not be used during the third trimester of pregnancy as it may stimulate premature contractions of the uterus. During the first six months of pregnancy, Oriens should only be used if the benefits clearly outweigh the risks.
Your doctor will decide if you can use this medicine.
Dimenhydrinate, the active ingredient in Oriens, is excreted in breast milk. There are no data available on the use of dimenhydrinate during breastfeeding.
Since adverse effects on the breast-fed child, such as increased irritability, cannot be excluded, you should either not take Oriens during breast-feeding or stop breast-feeding while taking Oriens.
Driving and using machines:
Oriens may cause drowsiness.
Drinking alcohol or using medications that contain
alcohol may enhance this effect.
Caution is required when driving or using machinery.

Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
This medicine should be administered sublingually (by placing it under the tongue and allowing it to dissolve, without chewing).
