Description
Slow-Mag B6 enteric-coated tablets contain magnesium in the form of magnesium chloride hexahydrate and vitamin B6 in the form of pyridoxine hydrochloride. One tablet provides 64 mg of magnesium ions and 5 mg of vitamin B6. The drug is used in combination with vitamin B6.
Magnesium deficiency may be accompanied by:
- muscle pain, tics, muscle tremors,
- headaches, fatigue, increased irritability, reduced resistance to stress, sleep disorders,
- disturbances in the concentration of lipids in the blood serum, cardiac arrhythmias, accelerated atherosclerotic changes in the vessels, arterial,
- accelerated osteoporosis.
Increased magnesium loss also occurs when taking diuretics. B6 increases magnesium absorption and reduces its excretion in urine.
The package contains 50 white or almost white, round, biconvex tablets.
