Suprasorb Liquacel reduces the risk of maceration by vertically absorbing and transferring exudate to the secondary dressing. Upon contact with exudate, Suprasorb Liquacel gels into a clear gel that encapsulates wound exudate, debris, and bacteria. Suprasorb Liquacel is easy to cut when dry and can then be easily applied or packed. Its ease of use extends to removal: Suprasorb Liquacel can be easily removed in one piece when moist. This minimizes the risk of dressing residue remaining in the wound.

Areas of application:
For the treatment of acute and chronic wounds, whether they are weakly to heavily exuding, superficial or deep.

Indications:

• Leg ulcer
• Pressure ulcers
• Diabetic ulcers
• Second-degree burns
• Lacerations, cuts and abrasions
• Traumatic wounds and wounds that tend to bleed, such as after surgical or mechanical debridement.
• Split-thickness skin graft donor sites

• Granulation phase

• Effective exudate management supports the healing process.
• Easy to use even when wet, as it can be removed in one piece.

Notes
When dry, Suprasorb Liquacel* can be easily cut to size. The dressing should overlap the wound edges by approximately 1 cm. For deep wounds, loosely pack 85% of the wound with the tamponade, overlapping it by approximately 2.5 cm.

Dressing change interval:
The date will be determined by the treating physician depending on the condition of the wound, the degree of exudate, and the secondary dressing, at the latest after 7 days.
