Our loofah is made from the fruit of the Lufa cylindrica plant, also called the cylindrical or Egyptian loofah. Supposedly, Cleopatra already knew that, in addition to a tasty salad, this pumpkin can easily be transformed into a first-class cosmetic tool. Ripe cucumber-like fruits just need to remove the skin, immerse in water and wait until the seeds and soft pulp wash away.
Only solid fibers remain, which after drying and cleaning turn into natural sponges, sponges and other useful aids. Dry loofah is firm and rough, but after soaking in warm water, it quickly softens and increases its volume. Thanks to this transformation, it is also ideal for delicate facial skin care. It gently removes dead cells, blood circulation and smoothes the skin. Replaces plastic sponges and massage sponges.
