SILYMARINE or Milk Thistle, CARDUUS MARIANUS, well known to homeopaths, is, together with chelidonia, a great stimulant and regenerator, which increases the detox power of liver cells.

SILIMARIN is a flavonoid that increases the regenerative capacity of liver cells by over 300%.

Its power is such that it has been recommended (along with other substances such as vitamin C, charcoal and antibiotics) in the treatment of mushroom poisoning, including amanita phalloides.
