Peha-haft bandages are bandages, therefore they do NOT have adhesive in their composition.

A bandage is a wound care material that, depending on its tensile strength, composition, and elasticity (horizontal or vertical), has different characteristics and functions. This particular bandage doesn't have much elasticity; it's a fixation bandage (meaning it's not for compression or joint support) but rather for wound care and for securing dressings, splints, etc.

The main benefit of the Peha-haft bandage is that it's a cohesive bandage, meaning it adheres to itself (it doesn't stick to any surface, skin, or wound; it only adheres to itself). Therefore, you don't need adhesive tape or anything similar to secure it. Because it's non-adhesive, it can also be used directly on wounds that aren't very exudative, although you can also use gauze first and then the bandage. Since it's a bandage and can be wrapped several times, it's also recommended for rounded areas, but it can be used on any area that allows for bandaging.
