Hyaluronic acid, a natural substance also found in the structures of the human eye and in the tear film, is therefore particularly well-tolerated. Hyaluronic acid is characterized by its high water-binding capacity and adheres well to the mucous membrane thanks to its mucoadhesive properties. HYLO-VISION® Gel Multi thus moisturizes and protects the surface of the eye, ensuring a smooth, stable, and particularly long-lasting film of moisture.

VISUAL STRESS & ENVIRONMENTAL Stimuli

Intense visual activity, such as prolonged screen time or long car journeys, can reduce the blink rate, resulting in less frequent lubrication of the eye's surface with tear fluid. Environmental factors like dry indoor air from heating and air conditioning, tobacco smoke, cold wind, and air pollutants can also negatively affect the tear film.

CONTACT LENSES

Wearing contact lenses puts mechanical stress on the eye, which can disrupt the tear film and cause unpleasant irritation. HYLO-VISION® Gel Multi moisturizes and protects the stressed surface of the eye. This wetting agent is suitable for use with both hard and soft contact lenses and can even be applied while wearing them.

EYE PROCEDURES

Following diagnostic and surgical procedures on the eye, the tear film can be temporarily disrupted, causing a severe feeling of dryness. HYLO-VISION® Gel Multi is well-suited for use after diagnostic procedures and eye surgeries. These phosphate-free, highly viscous eye drops provide intensive lubrication and long-lasting relief from discomfort.

DISEASES & MEDICINES

Dry eyes (sicca syndrome) can be caused by various diseases such as Sjögren's syndrome, diabetes, rheumatism, or various skin conditions. In addition, the use of certain medications (e.g., blood pressure medications, antihistamines, psychotropic drugs) can impair tear film production or affect the blink rate.

Instructions for use:

Step 1: Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before each use. To open for the first time, turn the screw cap counterclockwise until the safety seal breaks.
Step 2: Hold the bottle upside down and instill 1 to 2 drops of HYLO-VISION® Gel Multi into the conjunctival sac of each eye. The solution will spread with each blink and form a clear layer of fluid on the surface of the eye. If you are using HYLO-VISION® Gel Multi with contact lenses: Apply 1 to 2 drops to each contact lens before inserting them, instead of putting the drops directly into your eyes.
Step 3: After use, close the bottle with the cap. To avoid infection, the same bottle of HYLO-VISION® Gel Multi should not be used by multiple people.
