Infatrini Infant Formula Powder, from birth, 400 g, Nutricia

Infatrini Powder is a food for special medical purposes for the dietary management of malnutrition and growth disorders associated with diseases.

Infatrini Powder is a product with an energy value of 1 kcal/ml, nutritionally complete, in powder form.

It is intended for infants from birth and young children up to 18 months of age or with a body weight of up to 9 kg, with growth disorders, increased energy needs and/or restricted fluid intake.

Indications:

For the dietary management of malnutrition associated with diseases and growth disorders, increased energy needs and/or restricted fluid intake in infants from birth and young children.

Ingredients:

Preparation:

• Wash your hands and the surface on which you will prepare the food thoroughly
• Sterilize the bottle and teat
• Boil fresh drinking water for 5 minutes and let it cool for at least 30 minutes. The water should be warm when tested on the inside of your wrist
• Pour the required amount of water into a sterilized bottle
• Fill the measuring cup included in the package with powder. Remove excess powder with a clean, dry knife. Do not press the powder into the measuring cup. Use only the measuring cup included in the package
• Add the recommended number of teaspoons of powder to the water
• Close the bottle and shake until the powder dissolves
• Before serving, make sure the food is at the correct temperature by placing a few drops on the inside of your wrist
• Serve immediately after preparation
• Throw away any product left in the bottle two hours after preparation
• Do not heat the food while feeding.

How to use: 

• The amount of product to be consumed and the dilution should be determined exclusively by a doctor or dietitian and depend on the age, weight and clinical condition of the patient
• To prepare 100 ml of food, pour 90 ml of warm, previously boiled water into the bottle and gradually add 4 level teaspoons of powder (approximately 20 g of powder).

Precautions:

• The powder product is not sterile
• Each meal should be prepared immediately before feeding
• Do not cook prepared food
• Do not use the microwave to heat food
• The health of the infant depends on strict adherence to the recommendations for preparation, use and storage of the product
• Improper preparation and storage of the product may pose a risk to the health of the child
• Store in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator)
• Close the container tightly with the lid after each use
• Use the powder within one month of first opening the box.
