Lithoren is a dietary food recommended in the prevention and treatment of kidney stones.

Properties:

• Lithoren improves the effectiveness of lithotripsy, thanks to the citrates that prevent urinary supersaturation with calcium oxalate and at the same time the adhesion of oxalate or phosphate crystals is prevented, thus preventing the increase in size of residual stones
• Lithoren maintains urinary pH at values ​​that prevent recurrent urolithiasis. Urinary pH can be easily measured using identification strips with 0.25 intervals
• Renal stones of various types (oxalate or calcium phosphate, uric acid stones) become more soluble, thanks to citrates and magnesium ions, as well as alkaline urinary pH.

Composition:

• Potassium citrate tribasic 25 mEq (975 mg/sachet), magnesium citrate tribasic 5 mEq (60mg/sachet) and pyridoxine 25 mg/sachet
• Lithoren® does not contain sodium.

Administration method:

It is recommended to be administered 1 sachet/day before lithotripsy and 2 sachets/day throughout the lithotripsy sessions, at least 3 months.
