• Weeks 1–8: Use the 25 mg transdermal patch
• Weeks 9 and 10: Use the 15 mg transdermal patch
• Weeks 11 and 12: Use the 10 mg transdermal patch
• After 12 weeks: Stop using the transdermal patch.

Composition:

• The active ingredient is nicotine
• A 25 mg patch with a surface area of ​​22.5 cm2 contains 39.37 mg of nicotine
• The nicotine content in each patch is 1.75 mg/cm2
• The other ingredients are: Nicotine layer: polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film, medium-chain triglycerides, butyl methacrylate copolymer base. Acrylate layer: acrylic adhesive solution, potassium hydroxide, croscarmellose sodium, aluminum acetylacetonate. Release layer: polyethylene terephthalate (PET), one side aluminum, both sides siliconized.

How to use:

• Immediately after waking up, apply a new transdermal patch to a clean, dry, hairless area of ​​skin on the thigh, arm, chest, or hip
• Apply daily to a new area of ​​skin
• After 2-3 days, if no signs of irritation are observed, you can apply the product to the previously treated area
• Before going to bed, remove the transdermal patch and dispose of it safely
• We recommend starting with the highest concentration and then reducing it over the course of 12 weeks.

Indications:

• Patch treatment in combination with Nicorette® Freshfruit/Icemint 2 mg medicated chewable gum or Nicorette® Freshmint 1 mg oropharyngeal spray solution
• If the ultimate goal is complete smoking cessation, Nicorette® Clear should preferably be used in conjunction with a behavioral support program.

Precautions:

• Do not use on persons under 18 years of age or on non-smokers
• Do not apply the transdermal patch to the same area of ​​skin for two consecutive days
• Do not use the transdermal patch on inflamed or injured skin
• Patients must completely stop smoking while using Nicorette® Clear patches
