Idroflog is available as an ophthalmic solution in a package containing 15 vials of 0.5 ml each.

Each vial is sealed and administered by instilling into the conjunctival sac using a sterile applicator.

Idroflog eye drops is recommended for patients suffering from dry eye syndrome, a condition characterized by insufficient tear secretion, which leads to dryness and irritation of the ocular surface.

It is also useful in protecting the corneal surface in cases of lacrimal hyposecretion, playing an important role in the prevention and treatment of irritation or inflammation caused by various external conditions.

Due to its sodium hydrocortisone phosphate content, Idroflog helps to prevent the recurrence of inflammatory phenomena, especially in cases of damage to the corneal epithelium.

The dose of Idroflog should be adjusted according to the ophthalmologist's recommendations.

In general, 1-2 drops should be instilled into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye2-4 times a day. It is essential that treatment is supervised by a doctor to avoid possible complications or side effects.

Idroflog non-prescription eye drops is not indicated for patients who are sensitive or allergic to any of its ingredients.

It is also not recommended for use in cases of active eye infections or severe corneal disease requiring specific treatments.

Idroflog should only be administered externally and its use should be limited in time under the strict supervision of a doctor.

Due to its viscoelastic properties, the solution may cause a slight blurring of vision immediately after instillation, so it is recommended to avoid activities requiring clear vision, such as driving or operating machinery, until the effect has completely disappeared.

Possible side effects include a temporary burning sensation or discomfort in the eye immediately after instillation, which usually disappears within a few seconds.

Some people may also experience a slight blurring of vision due to the viscosity of the solution.

In rare cases, an allergic reaction to the components of the product may occur.

Idroflog does not interact significantly with other medicines or foods, but to avoid any risk of interaction, it is recommended that the patient inform the doctor of any concomitant eye treatment.

It is important to wait at least 20 minutes between the use of other ophthalmic solutions and the application of Idroflog to prevent possible interactions.

Although there are no signs of overdosage associated with the use of this product, excessive administration of the solution may result in temporary ocular discomfort.

In case of accidental overdose, it is recommended that the patient seek immediate medical advice.

Idroflog should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct light and heat sources. The recommended storage temperature is below 25°C. The product should be kept out of the reach of children and each vial should be used immediately after opening.
