The yeast Saccharomyces boulardii is a special type of yeast that was discovered in the tropical fruit of mangosteen. This yeast is resistant to high temperatures and stomach acid, which allows it to survive in the difficult conditions of the gastrointestinal tract. Saccharomyces boulardii usually lives in the intestines of humans and animals.
Each EnteroBiotix Forte capsule provides 2 x 10 10 CFU/g of Saccharomyces boulardii yeast. The abbreviation CFU ( colony-forming unit ) means a colony-forming unit (CFU) of active microorganisms. CFU/g informs about the number of live or yeast present in 1 g of the product.
The EnteroBiotix Forte package contains 20 capsules.
