Bilavit rosewood essential oil comes from a plant known as rosewood ( Aniba rosaeodora ). The plant belongs to the Laureaceae botanical family and grows mainly in the tropical forests of South America.

Rosewood essential oil – properties

Rosewood is characterized by a refreshing, sweet and warm fragrance with woody notes and camphor, somewhat reminiscent of a rose. It has therapeutic and relaxing properties.

Due to its low efficiency (5 kg of oil is obtained from 100 kg of raw material), rosewood extract is a very desirable product. Rose oil is rich in linalool, which when used in a diffuser strengthens the immune system's response to various infections. In addition, it purifies the air and makes breathing easier.

Rosewood oil will create a successful composition with aromas such as mandarin, rosemary, ylang-ylang or incense.
