Lagosa 150 mg, 25 dragees, Worwag Pharma
It is used in cases of exposure to substances with hepatotoxic risk.
Composition:
- Each dragee contains silymarin 150 mg in the form of methanolic dry extract of milk thistle fruit (Carduus marianus fructus) 240 mg
- Excipients with known effect: lactose 93.00 mg, sugar 84.741 mg.
Method of administration:
- Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
- Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
- The usual recommended dose is 300 mg of silymarin (2 Lagosa tablets) per day.
- The tablets should be swallowed with a small amount of liquid.
If you use more Lagosa than you should
- If you have accidentally taken too many tablets, or a child has swallowed some tablets, contact your doctor or the nearest hospital immediately.
- In case of overdose, symptomatic treatment is recommended. There is no specific antidote for silymarin overdose.
If you forget to use Lagosa
- If you accidentally forget to take your daily dose, take the next dose as usual. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
- If you have any further questions on this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Contraindications:
Do not use Lagosa:
- if you are allergic to silymarin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Lagosa.
Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Task:
- You must tell your doctor if you are (or might become) pregnant.
- Your doctor will normally advise you to stop taking Lagosa before you become pregnant or as soon as you know you are pregnant.
Breastfeeding:
- Tell your doctor if you are breast-feeding or want to start breast-feeding.
- Lagosa is not recommended for breastfeeding mothers.
Driving and using machines:
Lagosa does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.
