Twist Off capsules are highly palatable and easy to administer even to cats. They ensure the quality and freshness of the ingredients, which can oxidize very quickly.

The contents alone (the top of the capsule is broken off) or the capsule itself can be administered. The correct dosage and period of administration depend on the individual needs of the animal and will be determined by a veterinarian.

The cat must have fresh drinking water at all times.

Description:


Cranberry extract (vaccinum macrocarpon) contains proanthocyanidin (PAC A2, PAC B2, 3-PAC trimer), which interacts with the receptor surface of pathogenic bacteria and deactivates adhesins and fimbriae on it. The lack of fimbriae adhesion prevents bacteria from attaching to the epithelial cells of the urinary tract. This anti-adhesion property of cranberry prevents a concentration of bacteria that could lead to chronic urinary tract infections in the bladder (e.g. Escherichia Colli).

Parsley extract (petroselinum savitum) has diuretic properties (increases urine volume) and facilitates the removal of pathogenic bacteria from the urinary tract. It also reduces the pumping activity of sodium and potassium (Na+K/ K+ATP) in the kidneys, which reduces both the reuptake of sodium ions (Na+) and the extraction of potassium ions. These things are notable in the osmotic flow of water in the renal tubules and ion increase diuresis and urine volume.

Glucosamine, a precursor of glycosaminoglycans - components of the extracellular matrix that cover the mucous membrane of the lower urinary tract. Glucosamine decreases the permeability of the bladder wall to bacteria and toxins.

DL-Methionine is a sulfuric amino acid, the oxidation of which results in the formation of sulfuric acid and its excretion in the urine. This excretion contributes to the decrease in pH.

Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) is well known for its anxiolytic and sedative effects.

Nettle (Urtica Dioica) antihypertensive, diuretic and natriuretic action.

Vitamin B6 restricts the excretion of oxalates in the urine - protects against oxalates.

Vitamin C contributes to the acidification of urine and protects against recurrent urinary tract infections.
