COMPOSITION:
lactose monohydrate, glucosamine, D-mannose, gelatin capsules (bovine).

Bearberry extract contains arbutin, which converts to hydroquinone in the urinary tract. Hydroquinone is an antiseptic that veterinary scientists believe gives bearberry its powerful ability to fight urinary tract infections in cats.

Glucosamine sulfate is a glucosamine derivative derived from the exoskeleton of crustaceans and stimulates the synthesis of glycosaminoglycan (GAG), which protects the sensitive urothelium and prevents bacteria from binding to urothelial cells.

D-Mannose is a naturally occurring simple sugar that appears to be a safe and practical alternative for the treatment of urinary tract infections caused by E. coli and other related bacteria (Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Proteus, Klebsiella spp.). The lining of the bladder is composed of polysaccharide molecules. Finger-like projections on the surface of the E. coli cell adhere to these molecules, initiating an infection. In the presence of D-mannose, it preferentially attaches to its molecules, forming a complex that is expelled during the next bowel movement.

ANALYTICAL CONSTITUENTS:
crude protein 5.21%, fat 3.77%, crude ash 6.12%, crude fiber 6.10%, moisture 5.78%.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1 capsule per day per 5 kg of body weight, or as advised by your veterinarian.
