Condrovet

Condrovet is available as oral nutritional supplements for dogs, specifically in the form of tablets or capsules, designed to facilitate daily administration. The tablets are formulated to be highly palatable, allowing them to be administered directly or mixed into food.

• Condrovet Force HA – 10/120/240/500 tablets
• Condrovet Force HA Large Breeds – 10/80/360 tablets
• Condrovet Force HA Cats – 45 capsules

The main indications for Condrovet HA include:

• osteoarthritis and degenerative processes of the articular cartilage
• hip dysplasia or other congenital joint disorders
• joint stiffness associated with ageing
• recovery following orthopaedic surgery
• recovery following joint trauma
• joint support in dogs with high levels of physical activity

The Condrovet for dogs formula contains substances that play a structural and functional role in joint cartilage, such as glucosamine hydrochloride, chondroitin sulphate and hyaluronic acid, which act synergistically to support cartilage regeneration and improve joint lubrication. 

Condrovet Force HA is administered orally, once daily, depending on the dog’s body weight. The tablets can be given before, during or after a meal and can be mixed into food to facilitate ingestion. The recommended dose is:

• 0–10 kg – 1 tablet per day
• 10–20 kg – 2 tablets per day
• 20–40 kg – 3 tablets per day
• over 40 kg – 4 tablets per day

Condrovet for dogs and cats is generally well tolerated by most dogs. However, the use of Condrovet Force HA is contraindicated in certain situations:

• known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the product’s components
• individual intolerance to glucosamine or chondroitin
• use in species other than those indicated without the recommendation of a vet

To achieve optimal results, the supplement should be administered for a sufficient period to allow for the regeneration and maintenance of joint cartilage structure. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the treatment can be enhanced by combining it with:

• weight control
• moderate physical exercise
• a balanced diet
• regular veterinary monitoring

Using the product as part of a comprehensive treatment programme can significantly help improve mobility and reduce joint discomfort.

Condrovet is considered a supplement with a high safety profile. In rare cases, mild side effects may occur, such as:

• temporary digestive disturbances
• temporary loss of appetite
• skin allergic reactions

These reactions are usually rare and reversible once the product is discontinued.

Condrovet for cats and dogs can be administered alongside most commercial dog diets.

In some cases, the supplement may be used in combination with anti-inflammatory or analgesic treatments prescribed by the vet as part of osteoarthritis therapy. However, it is recommended to consult your vet before combining the product with other supplements or medicines.

There is no data to suggest any significant toxic effects associated with an overdose of Condrovet.

However, administering quantities significantly higher than those recommended may cause mild digestive disturbances, such as diarrhoea or abdominal discomfort. In such cases, administration should be discontinued and it is recommended to consult a vet.

Condrovet HA should be stored in a dry place, protected from light and moisture, at temperatures below 25°C.

The product must be stored in its original, tightly closed packaging to prevent degradation of the active ingredients. It must also be kept out of the reach of children and animals.
