Therasal
Description Therasal
The information in the FAQ section was created by the Liki24.at team and is based on the official manufacturer's manual
Therasal is a comprehensive range of dermocosmetic products and food supplements, formulated to support the health of the skin, mucous membranes and the entire body through natural extracts, fat-soluble vitamins and carefully selected nutritional ingredients. Thanks to the combination of purified animal fats, standardised plant extracts (such as Pyrus malus or Allium porrum) and essential vitamins (A, E or C), the Therasal range offers multi-factorial support for skin integrity, tissue regeneration, protection of the digestive mucous membranes and the wellbeing of the upper respiratory tract.
Forms of administration
Therasal is available in various forms: Therasal skin spray, Therasal capsules, Therasal chewable tablets or Therasal lollipops for children.
In this way, the product can be tailored to the needs of each patient, facilitating an integrated approach to the health of the skin, gastric mucosa and oral cavity.
Indications for use
Therasal Spray is indicated for the daily care of dry or irritated skin, providing essential support in the skin regeneration process. The product ensures intense hydration of areas exposed to external aggressors, such as cold, wind or dry air, whilst helping to maintain the skin barrier by restoring the protective lipid layer.
Therasal Gastro and Therasal Gastro Forte are recommended to support the health of the gastric and intestinal mucosa, playing a role in protecting the digestive epithelium from irritants. Thanks to its supply of fat-soluble vitamins, the product promotes normal stomach and intestinal function and indirectly contributes to maintaining skin health through a mechanism of internal nutrition.
Therasal Oral, in the form of chewable tablets, is intended to relieve throat discomfort, including dryness and irritation, and supports local immunity thanks to its vitamin C and botanical extracts.
Dosage regimen
Therasal Spray should be applied up to four times a day, massaging gently until the product is fully absorbed. It can be used as often as necessary, with one dose corresponding to approximately 0.5 g.
Therasal Gastro should be administered to adults in doses of one capsule three times a day, 30 minutes before main meals. The minimum recommended course of treatment is three months, and dosage adjustments should only be made on the advice of a specialist.
Contraindications
For Therasal Spray, use is contraindicated in people with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients and it must not be applied to open wounds unless under medical supervision.
As for Therasal Gastro, the product is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without specialist consultation and is contraindicated for people allergic to animal fats, plant extracts or vitamins.
For Therasal Oral, the product is contraindicated for people with diabetes, as it contains sugar.
Special instructions for use
Therasal products integrate perfectly into your skincare routine when used consistently and in the recommended doses.
The lipid ingredients enhance the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, boosting their effects on the skin and mucous membranes.
Side effects
Although most users tolerate the products well, the following may occur:
- rare local irritation, erythema, a temporary burning sensation in the case of the spray
- mild digestive disturbances (nausea, bloating)
- stomach discomfort
- allergic reactions
Interactions with other medicines and food
As it contains vitamins A and E, Therasal Gastro may interact with anticoagulant medicines, which is why concurrent use requires medical supervision.
Furthermore, alcohol consumption may further irritate the gastric mucosa and reduce tolerance to supplements intended for the digestive tract.
Overdose
Overdose with Therasal products is unlikely, but exceeding the recommended dose may cause symptoms specific to each formulation.
Therasal Spray may cause only local irritation, whilst oral supplements, particularly Therasal Gastro, which contains fat-soluble vitamins, may cause symptoms such as nausea, headache or digestive disturbances.
Storage conditions
Therasal products must be stored in their original, tightly sealed packaging to maintain the stability of the ingredients and prevent contamination. The optimal storage temperature is 20–25 °C for Therasal Spray, whilst for other products it is recommended to store them at room temperature. All forms must be protected from direct light and sources of heat.
