Dietary supplements and alpha-lipoic acid

Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Alpha-lipoic acid is a sulfur-containing fatty acid that acts as a coenzyme and antioxidant in the human body.

Beef and offal have the highest natural concentrations of alpha-lipoic acid, which can also be obtained through diet. Once absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, alpha-lipoic acid, thanks to its water and fat solubility, reaches different parts of the body.

Alpha-lipoic acid becomes even more effective when converted to dihydrolipoic acid. Both forms can neutralize harmful free radicals and metals, thus supporting the antioxidant capacity of the metabolism.

Instructions for use

• Recommended intake: Take 1 capsule daily on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before or at least 2 hours after a meal, with sufficient liquid.
• Caution: Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
• Storage: Store in a cool (6-25 °C) and light-protected place, out of reach of small children.
