Cicatridine
nasal ointment

Cicatridine is a hyaluronic acid-based ointment that adheres to the nasal mucosa, forming a film that protects against external agents and pathogens.
Hyaluronic acid, by retaining physiologically present water, hydrates and promotes natural tissue repair processes.
In addition, due to the presence of plant extracts and sweet almond oil, Cicatridina has a lubricating and emollient action that provides relief to dry and irritated mucosa.
It is useful for maintaining the hydration of the nasal mucosa in cases of dryness and irritation, even in the presence of crusts, due to:
- specific environmental conditions;
- pharmacological treatments;
- pathologies such as rhinitis and/or sinusitis.
It also supports the natural processes of re-epithelialization and repair of the nasal mucosa after surgery, superficial injuries and nosebleeds and has a protective and moisturizing action that prevents the formation of crusts.
It is also indicated in cases of dryness and irritation of the perinasal area.

How to use
Wash your hands before using the medical device.
Apply an appropriate amount of product to your finger, depending on the size of the area to be treated, and gently apply a thin layer of ointment inside the nostril and/or perinasal area.
Adults and children: apply 2-3 times a day or as prescribed by a doctor.
The duration of use depends on the progression of symptoms.
It can be used at any time of the day.

Sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, centella asiatica, marigold, aloe vera, sweet almond oil, BHT, vitamin E acetate, propylene glycol, white petrolatum, petrolatum oil, castor oil, carnauba wax, benzalkonium chloride.

warnings
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to one of the product components.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
It is advisable to consult your doctor before using the product in combination with other medical devices or nasal medications.
Use, especially if prolonged, may cause sensitization and irritation. If this occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor for appropriate treatment.
If you experience any other side effects, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
Not for use in children under 3 years of age.
Treatment in children should be carried out under adult supervision.
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Do not ingest.
The expiration date refers to the product in intact packaging, stored correctly.
Do not use after the expiration date or if the packaging is opened or damaged.

Conservation
Store the medical device tightly closed, in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat.
