PROPERTIES The most important component of the nail is keratin, which is practically impermeable to most antifungal preparations. In many cases, mycosis is also present under the nail, which complicates treatment. Excilor® controls the nail microenvironment, acidifying the nail bed. It penetrates the nail, so it is treated "from the inside out." It may take several months before the affected nail has a completely healthy appearance. A toenail grows only +/- 1.5 mm per month. It rapidly lowers the nail's pH, making it an unfavorable environment for fungal growth. However, the damaged nail must have time to regrow. INDICATED FOR: The treatment of nails damaged by mycosis. HOW TO USE: Wash the nail and remove all traces of nail polish. Use the applicator to cover the entire surface of the nail and the lower edge with the product. Apply generously. Let it dry (1 to 2 minutes) before putting on socks or shoes. This allows the product to work properly on the nail. It is normal to experience a burning sensation under the nail after application. This is proof that the product has penetrated the nail. Apply the product twice a day (morning and night). For best results, continue the treatment for at least 3 months. It is recommended to continue the treatment until the nail has completely healed. Close the container with the applicator to prevent evaporation.
