Quercetin is a natural, secondary plant compound. Secondary plant compounds possess diverse chemical structures with specific properties. Well-known groups of secondary plant compounds include polyphenols, isoflavones, carotenoids, and oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs). These secondary plant compounds protect plants from UV radiation, viruses, and fungi. Quercetin is primarily found in the outer layer of plants or fruits, where it protects them from free radicals. In common foods, quercetin is found in onions, apples, broccoli, and green beans, for example. However, the preparation of these foods, or even peeling an apple, unfortunately reduces the natural quercetin content. Quercetin, a valuable natural plant compound, is also extracted from the flowers of the Japanese pagoda tree. Combined with another natural polyphenol from grape seed extract and vitamin C, it is an ideal daily dietary supplement.

Application:
Adults take one capsule twice daily with liquid, ideally with or after a meal.
