Lysi Sport Omega 3 Forte is a dietary supplement containing 1000 mg of fish oil . Each capsule provides two omega-3 fatty acids: eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) . Suitable for children 6 years of age and older and adults.
Properties of DHA and EPA acids
Omega-3 fatty acids are not synthesized in the human body and are obtained through food. A particularly valuable source of omega-3 fatty acids in the daily diet can be fish fats, especially saltwater fish. They are found in fish fat.
DHA and EPA are essential fatty acids (EFAs). DHA and EPA, when consumed in a daily amount of 250 mg, contribute to the normal function of the heart . Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) also contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and vision (when consumed in a daily amount of 250 mg of DHA).
