MacroBalans, 20 sachets

MacroBalans contains macrogol in the form of a powder for oral solution and is intended for the treatment of temporary and chronic constipation in adults and children. Macrogol is safe to use; it is an inert, water-absorbing substance that passes through the intestines without degradation or absorption into the body. Macrogol binds water and causes it to enter the intestine. This increases the bulk of the stool, making it more fluid. The increased intestinal content stimulates the intestinal muscles, and the more fluid structure further facilitates bowel movements.

Dosage:

Adults and children over 8 years of age:
- 1 sachet of powder (12 g) dissolved in a glass of water or juice 1-2 times a day.
Children 2-3 years old:
- 1 sachet of powder (6 g) dissolved in water or juice once a day.
Children 4-7 years old:
- 1 sachet of powder (6 g) dissolved in a glass of water or juice 1-2 times a day.

Constipation resolves within 1-3 days. Typically, 1 sachet is sufficient to relieve constipation.

MacroBalans should be used according to the instructions for use and dosage, unless otherwise directed by your doctor. The dose can be taken regardless of the time of day. Do not use in children under 2 years of age .
