Instructions for use

• Choose the appropriate hook based on the size of the tick.
• Guide the notch of the hook sideways under the tick.
• Turn the hook clockwise or counterclockwise until the tick comes loose.
• Disinfect the injection site thoroughly.

Product details and material

mosquito® tick hooks are made of polyoxymethylene (POM). This material is recyclable, exceptionally durable, and resistant to many solvents. The hooks are robust, long-lasting, and reusable. They can also be disinfected, for example with alcohol, and sterilized in an autoclave at 140°C without any problems.
