Nasodern removes secretions and cleanses the nose and paranasal sinuses, quickly relieving the symptoms of sinusitis.

After application, the patient experiences increased secretions from the mucus accumulated in the nose and paranasal sinuses, lasting up to two hours. As a result, the headache and/or the pain that often accompanies sinusitis quickly subsides.

Indications:

Intended for the local relief of symptoms of rhinitis (the sensation of a blocked nose) such as: mucus congestion, loss of smell, headache and/or facial pain, and the sensation of blocked ears.

Ingredients:

Lyophilized powder, a natural extract from fresh tubers of the alpine Cyclamen Europaeum L.

How to use:

• Open the container containing the powder by turning the cap counterclockwise and removing the cap
• Open the plastic ampoule containing the liquid by tearing off the top
• Pour the contents of the ampoule into the container containing the powder. Screw the spray nozzle onto the container and shake gently until the powder is completely dissolved
• Wait until all foam has disappeared
• Remove the protective cap from the spray nozzle
• Before first use, perform 2-3 test sprays of the solution, aiming the nozzle into the air away from your eyes
• Position your head upright, avoiding tilting forward or backward
• Place the nozzle in your right nostril
• Hold your breath for 3-5 seconds and spray the solution into your right nostril, pressing the nozzle only once
• Exhale deeply through your mouth, then breathe normally
• Do not inhale the spray solution
• Repeat by placing the nozzle in your left nostril
• When finished, clean the nozzle with a clean tissue and replace the cap. It can only be used by spraying into the nostrils
• It should be applied only once daily to each nostril, preferably at the same time of day, but no later than two hours before bedtime
• Administering more than the recommended daily dose will not increase its effectiveness
• Treatment usually lasts 7-10 days, but can be extended to 14 days if necessary
• Significant improvement or complete resolution of symptoms usually occurs after 6-8 doses
• After 3-5 doses, headaches and/or facial pain, often accompanying rhinitis, usually decrease or disappear completely
• Regardless of the resolution of headache and other rhinitis symptoms, treatment should continue for the recommended period of 7-10 days
• In case of complications during purulent infections, consult a doctor
• If further treatment is necessary for acute or chronic conditions, it can be started 7-10 days after completing the first course.

Contraindications:

• Do not use if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to violets, primroses, or other plant species, due to the possibility of swelling of the nasal mucosa, eyelids, or face
• Consult a doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Do not use this product on children under 6 years of age
• Driving or operating machinery is not recommended for the first two hours after application
• Before using the spray, inform your doctor or pharmacist of all medications you are currently taking or have recently taken, including over-the-counter medications.
• Other products applied to the nostrils can be used 1.5-2 hours after using the spray
• Does not contain artificial colors or preservatives
• Once prepared, store in the refrigerator (2-8°C) for no longer than 16 days. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Warnings:

• An overdose of this product may cause a severe burning sensation in the nasopharynx, but it is not expected to have any serious consequences for the patient
• In the event of an accidental overdose, rinsing the nose and throat with warm water may be helpful
• Use one dose per nostril daily
• Avoid inhaling the spray during application
• Avoid contact with the eyes, as it may cause irritation or symptoms of acute conjunctivitis
• A transient, mild and short-lasting burning or itching sensation, sneezing, tearing, or increased nasal discharge may occur a few minutes after application. This is completely normal and indicates that the product is starting to work and the patient is responding optimally
• Do not discontinue treatment due to the symptoms described. Pink-tinged nasal discharge is also a possible consequence of using the product and should not be cause for concern
• Eating and drinking do not affect the performance of the medical device.
