Ear cleaning solution, Epi-Otic, 125 ml

Composition:

- Salicylic acid 0.2%
- Sodium docusate
- Parachlorometaxylenol (PCMX)
- EDTA
- Monosaccharides

Properties:

The new Epi-Otic formula is a highly tolerated solution, specially designed for the prevention and treatment of otitis externa in dogs and cats. The originality of the formula is based on the complementarity of the action of the main associated ingredients, in a formula with excellent cleaning properties.
Salicylic acid associated with sodium docusate allows for the elimination of cellular deposits and excess cerumen from the ear canal. PCMX associated with EDTA contributes to the restoration of the microbial balance of the ear canal.
The exclusive association with monosaccharides provides an anti-irritant effect and limits the adhesion of microorganisms to the skin surface.

Indications:

Epi-Otic is used in dogs and cats to prevent the occurrence of otitis in susceptible animals, or in the pretreatment of purulent or cerumen-erythematous otitis.

Dosage and method of administration:

2-3 times a week for routine use, before each treatment for otitis externa or as recommended by your veterinarian.

In cleaning the ear canal with severe otitis externa or administration 30 minutes before treatment with otic solution. If this interval cannot be maintained, then carefully clean the ear canal with a cotton swab.
Shake before use. Twist off the white cap, then apply Epi-Otic into the ear canal, massage gently at the base of the ear, then remove excess product with a cotton swab.

Contraindications:

Do not use in case of ruptured tympanic membrane.
