Otipax L is a solution to be instilled into the external ear canal. It comes in bottles with a soft plastic dropper. The vial contains 16 g of solution.

If you do not feel better in 2 days, or if you feel worse, you should see a doctor.

Otipax L is used for the local treatment of pain caused by certain ear diseases in adults and children from the age of 6 months.

Otipax L can be used as an auxiliary treatment in the local treatment of pain as a symptom of some ear diseases:

• Acute inflammation of the middle ear (without damage to the eardrum)
• Inflammation of the external ear
• Inflammation of the tympanic membrane of viral origin.

How to use Otipax L

Always use this medicine exactly as written in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

The medicine is applied in the external ear canal. Before use, it is advisable to warm the solution, for example by rubbing the bottle in your palms.

The recommended dose is 4 drops of solution in the external ear canal 2 to 3 times a day.
