Horsetail is a plant widely used in Romanian folk medicine, being valued mainly for its diuretic properties, but also for soothing pain caused by rheumatism and arthritis.

• It supports the normal functioning of the urinary system.
• It helps to maintain the mobility and suppleness of the joints.

Ingredients:

The upper part of the plant Equisetum arvense L., fam. Equisetaceae containing salicylic acid, potassium salts, saponins, flavonoids, volatile oil, phytosterols, vitamin C.

Effect:

Diuretic, eliminates uric acid, calcium and inorganic phosphorus, antiseptic, astringent, hemostatic, cicatrizing, antacid, remineralizing.

Main uses:

Calculosis and renal colic; cystitis, nephritis, edema.

Other uses:

Internal use : rheumatism, arthritis, gout, fractures.
External use : hemorrhoids, eczema, wounds.

Contraindications:
They don't know each other.

Preparation:

Internal use: prepare a decoction of 2 teaspoons of the plant to a cup of water.
External use : prepare a highly concentrated decoction of 100 grams of plant per liter of water.

Administration method:

Internal use: drink 2-3 cups of tea a day, before the main meals.
External use : apply local baths and compresses with the concentrated infusion.
