Passion flower, dried flower extract has long been known for its ability to relax and reduce tension. Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is a primary inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system, reducing the amount of nerve cell activity - which has a calming and relaxing effect. Essentially, passion flower also has properties that prevent the breakdown of vital neurotransmitters (dopamine, norepinephrine, serotonin), which increases their levels in the body and results in improved mood and temperament.

Chamomile dried flower extract contains apigenin, a flavonoid with anxiolytic properties. Chamomile also has muscle relaxant, anti-inflammatory, and antispasmodic properties. Due to these properties, chamomile can provide relief from a variety of common disorders in small animals and can be used as a sedative.

Valerian extract is best known for its sedative qualities and is used to relieve stress, insomnia, and anxiety, control seizures, and provide relaxation. Valerian root is known to work through GABA receptors, which block nerve transmissions between neurons that stimulate activity.

L-tryptophan is an essential dietary amino acid that supports mood and behavior modulation in mammalian species through its role in the serotonergic pathway. When excess L-tryptophan is provided in the diet and is not utilized for protein synthesis, it can be used as a therapeutic supplement. Currently used in domestic animals, L-tryptophan is the main precursor of serotonin which has a sedative effect, such as pain sensitivity and aggressive behaviors. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
