Hepathrombin gel 300UI/g, 40 g, Hemofarm
Indications:
Hepathrombin gel is indicated as an adjuvant in:
- superficial venous thrombosis, thrombophlebitis, phlebitis, prevaricose syndrome, postphlebitic syndrome, leg ulcer;
- post-traumatic injuries (hematomas, contusions, dislocations);
- bursitis, tenosynovitis.
Method of administration:
The gel is applied to the affected skin area and around it, 2-3 times a day, and massaged gently. In case of inflammation of the veins, the area is not massaged, but only the medicine is applied in a thin layer, on the affected surface, then covered with an occlusive or elastic dressing. In case of varicose ulceration, the gel is applied in the form of a ring with a width of 4 cm. The gel is applied only to skin without lesions.
The medicine should not be applied to open wounds, including bleeding varicose ulcers and superinfected areas.
Composition/gram:
Sodium heparin 300 IU; Allantoin 2.5 mg; Dexpanthenol 2.5 mg.
Contraindications:
The medicine is not applied to open wounds, including bleeding varicose ulcers and superinfected areas.
In case of varicose ulcers, the gel is applied in the form of a ring, 4 cm wide.
Contact of the gel with the eyes or mucous membranes should be avoided. In the event of a skin rash, administration should be discontinued immediately. Hands should be washed after each application. If the gel is applied repeatedly by another person, the latter should wear protective gloves.
If symptoms persist or worsen after 4-5 days, you should consult a doctor. Do not exceed the recommended doses.
Hepathrombin with other medicines
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
When using the drug in recommended doses and due to the low systemic absorption of the active substances, clinically significant drug interactions are unlikely to occur.
Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
The medicine can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding only for short periods and on the advice of a doctor.
Driving and using machines:
Hepathrombin has no influence on the ability to drive or use machines.
