The butyrates provided are the main source of energy for the epithelial cells of the small intestine and colon (colonocytes). Butyrin can support intestinal transit and promote good intestinal function (of intestinal cells and microbiota) because butyrate - among others - can play a key role in intestinal physiology, being one of the preferred sources of carbon atoms of colonic epithelial cells.

Way of ussage:
Adults: take 1-2 softgels a day with a glass of water during meals. One box provides up to 2 months' supply.
