Properties:

Ingredients:
Calendula flowers (Calendula officinalis)

Active principles:
Essential oil, bitter substances, triterpenic substances, resins, carotenoids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins.

Way of ussage:
Internally: infusion of 1-2 teaspoons of the plant in a cup of boiling water. Leave covered for 10-15 minutes. Drink 2-3 cups of tea a day. A typical cure lasts 6-8 weeks.
Externally: infusion of 3 tablespoons of the plant per liter of boiling water, used for local washes, compresses, vaginal washes.

Warnings:
There are no known adverse effects at the recommended doses and method of use, except that some people may be allergic to any of the ingredients.
