Livobleu

LivoBleu is available in capsules, designed for the effective release of active ingredients and to ensure optimal bioavailability. 

This form of administration allows for good absorption of the ingredients and facilitates long-term use, making it suitable for treatment regimens for chronic liver diseases or for preventive measures.

LivoBleu is recommended for:

• supporting normal liver function in cases of metabolic overload, alcohol consumption, exposure to toxins or hepatotoxic drug treatments;
• reducing inflammatory and oxidative processes in the liver, thanks to the cumulative effects of silymarin and vitamin E;
• managing hepatic steatosis, thanks to the action of choline in phospholipid metabolism and in preventing excessive fat accumulation in hepatocytes;
• support detoxification processes by stimulating hepatocyte regeneration and improving bile flow;
• maintaining hepatic homeostasis in people with unbalanced dietary habits, dyslipidaemia or associated metabolic risks.

The recommended dose for adults is 1 capsule per day, to be taken preferably with meals to facilitate optimal absorption of the active ingredients. The duration of treatment is 4 months, the period required to achieve hepatoprotective effects.

Treatment may be repeated, on the advice of a specialist, depending on the progression of clinical and biochemical parameters.

LivoBleu is contraindicated in the following situations:

• known hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients or excipients
• people with trimethylaminuria
• pregnancy and breastfeeding, in the absence of sufficient clinical data on the safety of administration
• severe biliary obstruction, as some components may affect bile flow.

Caution is advised when administering LivoBleu to people with advanced liver disease or those undergoing concomitant treatment with drugs metabolised by the liver.

In cases of hormone-dependent conditions (ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, etc.), the use of silymarin-based supplements must be assessed by the treating doctor.

LivoBleu is generally well tolerated. However, rare adverse reactions may occur, such as:

• mild gastrointestinal disturbances (bloating, abdominal discomfort);
• skin allergic reactions in individuals sensitive to plant extracts;
• nausea or headache, in isolated cases.

Most reactions are temporary and do not require discontinuation of treatment.

Silymarin may affect the activity of certain liver enzymes, altering the metabolism of some medicines (anticoagulants, oral hypoglycaemic agents, oral contraceptives).
 

Vitamin E administered in conjunction with additional antioxidants or anticoagulants requires medical supervision to prevent the risk of bleeding.

High-fat foods may enhance the absorption of fat-soluble compounds, including vitamin E, but no specific dietary restrictions are necessary.

Accidental overdose is unlikely, given the moderate concentration of the ingredients. However, ingestion of amounts far exceeding the recommended dose may cause gastrointestinal disturbances, headache, hypotension or exacerbation of allergic reactions. In such situations, it is recommended to discontinue use and seek medical assessment.

LivoBleu must be stored in its original, tightly closed packaging at temperatures below 25 °C, protected from moisture and direct light, and kept out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the label.
