Fresubin Protein Energy Drink 4-pack, strawberry-flavored liquid, is a food for special medical purposes, intended for the dietary management of neurological patients, particularly elderly patients with pressure ulcers and difficult-to-heal wounds, who are malnourished or at risk of malnutrition due to their disease, particularly those with increased protein and energy requirements or fluid restrictions. Suitable for adults and children over 6 years of age. It is a high-energy (1.5 kcal/ml) and high-protein (27% protein) diet, providing 20 g of protein and 300 kcal per pack. Contains trace amounts of cocoa fiber. Gluten-free and clinically lactose-free. Ready-to-drink. The pack contains:

Recommended daily intake

Intake should be determined by medical personnel depending on the individual needs of the patient.
Recommended dosage:

• in complementary nutrition: 2-3 bottles (600-900 kcal)/day,
• in complete nutrition: 4-5 bottles (1200-1500 kcal)/day.

How to use

It's best to serve this product chilled. Drink slowly.

Contraindications and precautions

Use under medical supervision. A high protein level should be considered for complete nutrition. Do not administer to children under 3 years of age. Caution should be exercised when administering to children under 6 years of age. This product is not intended for use in patients with galactosemia. Ensure adequate fluid and electrolyte intake during use. Store at room temperature. Once opened, the package can be stored in the refrigerator for a maximum of 24 hours.
