ACYLPYRIN 500 mg effervescent tablets are used for fever and pain, especially in influenza-like illnesses, as well as for headaches, joint, muscle, tooth, nerve and spinal pain of various origins.

How to take ACYLPYRIN 500 mg effervescent tablets

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, check with your doctor or pharmacist.

Recommended dose

Unless otherwise advised by a doctor, adults and adolescents usually take 1-2 tablets every 4-8 hours. The maximum daily dose of 8 tablets should not be exceeded. The minimum interval between doses is 4 hours.

Consult your doctor about the suitability of using ACYLPYRIN 500 mg effervescent tablets at the same time as other painkillers or fever reducers. Do not use the medicine for longer than 7 days without medical advice. If the pain does not subside within 5 days or if the temperature does not drop within 3 days, or if the symptoms worsen, consult a doctor. Do not drink alcoholic beverages during treatment with ACYLPYRIN 500 mg effervescent tablets.

Use in children

The medicine is given to children exceptionally and in justified cases only on the recommendation of a pediatrician. The usual dose for children from 7 years of age is half a tablet 3 times a day, for children older than 10 years of age 1 tablet 3 times a day.
