Eucalyptus honey Albina Carpatina, 270 g, Apicola
Eucalyptus honey is harvested from the flowers of eucalyptus trees in Paraguay, South America. It is a monofloral honey (all collected nectar comes from the same plant species), which is instantly recognizable by its color and specific aroma. It has a moderate sweetness.
Properties:
- eucalyptus honey is rich in vitamins C and B9, enzymes, but also in flavonoids with an antioxidant role;
- has antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties;
- relieves upper respiratory tract conditions, such as bronchitis, pharyngitis, asthma and sinusitis, soothes coughs and sore throats;
- supports the immune system;
- has an antioxidant effect, because it contains polyphenols and flavonoids;
- supports the health of the urinary tract, inhibits the development of bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli);
- has a cicatrizing effect in the case of skin wounds and acne lesions;
- helps intestinal transit and relieves constipation.
