Description
Albothyl is used for the local treatment of bacterial vaginosis. The cardboard box contains 6 pessaries in a blister and a bag with polyethylene finger cover. Polycresulene contained in the drug has a selective effect on the proteins of necrotic and diseased tissues. It does not affect healthy tissue. The acidic reaction of the drug (low pH) destroys the bacteria.
