Artelac Nighttime Gel is an ophthalmic lubricant.

Artelac Nighttime gel is an ideal product for long-term relief and protection of dry eyes due to chronic tear dysfunction. It is formulated to provide support for all three layers of the tear film, including the outer layer - the most lipid-rich. It covers the tear film with a high viscosity gel that is designed to stay on the surface of the eye and retain moisture. It lubricates the eyes, soothes and relieves the symptoms of chronic lacrimal dysfunction such as dry eyes, burning sensation, tired eyes, blurred vision and even eyes with excess tear secretion.

Composition: 1 g of Artelac Nighttime Gel contains 2 mg of carbomer, medium chain triglycerides, along with sterile water, sorbitol and sodium hydroxide. Cetrimide is used as a preservative.

Characteristics: Artelac Nighttime gel supports all three layers of the tear film with sterile water for hydration, carbomer for retaining hydration on the surface of the eye and triglycerides, fats for supporting the lipid layer of the tear film, with the role of maintaining moisture. Artelac Nighttime gel is a high-viscosity gel that provides long-lasting protection of the eye surface. Artelac Nighttime gel is easy to use, well tolerated and safe. Artelac Nighttime gel will initially cause blurred vision after administration, before the immediate blink reflex clears the gel, which is why most people choose to use this product at night.

Precautions and warnings: If you use Artelac Nighttime gel during the day, wait until your vision returns to normal before using machinery or driving. In rare cases, this product may cause hypersensitivity reactions, such as local allergic reactions. Treatment should be discontinued in such cases. Do not use the product if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients. If you are using different ophthalmic preparations, wait approximately 15 minutes before using the second gel drop product. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before applying Artelac Nighttime gel and wait approximately 15 minutes after application before use.

Way of ussage:
1. Remove the protective cap from the top of the tube before use. Be sure not to touch the top of the tube with your fingers.
2. Tilt the head slightly back and gently pull the lower eyelid with a finger of the free hand and hold the tube vertically above the eye with the nozzle down. Then gently squeeze the tube to put a drop of gel. Avoid touching the top of the tube with its eye with your fingers to prevent any possible contamination of the solution.
3. Replace the cap on the tube after each use.
