Antitussive syrup Aspecton Junior, 100 ml, Krewel Meuselbach

Aspecton Junior is a syrup used for irritation of the mucous membrane lining the mouth and throat and for the associated dry, irritating cough.

Properties:

• immediately relieves the irritating cough and soothes the dry mucous membrane of the respiratory tract;
• relieves cough without blocking it;
• forms a protective film on the mucous membrane of the oral and pharyngeal cavity;
• well tolerated;
• can be combined with expectorants or other cold medicines.

Characteristics:

• moisturizing and soothing syrup;
• no sugar, alcohol or preservatives;
• lactose or gluten free;
• honey flavor;
• child friendly dosing syringe.

Ingredients:

100 ml of liquid contain 11.12 g of fluid extract of Lichen islandicus.
Other ingredients - potassium sorbate, maltitol solution, anhydrous citric acid, hydroxyethyl cellulose, macrogolglycerol hydroxystearate, propylene glycol, sucralose, honey flavor, purified water.

Way of ussage:

Children between 1-4 years - 5 ml once or twice a day.
Children between 5-10 years - 10 ml 2 times a day.
Children/adolescents 11-16 years - 10 ml 3-4 times a day.
If the symptoms persist for more than 3 days, without any improvement, the doctor should be consulted.

Precautions:

Apecton Junior antitussive is not given to children under 1 year of age.
This product contains maltitol solution. If your doctor has warned you that you have an intolerance to some categories of carbohydrates, please ask him before taking this product.
Maltitol can have a mild laxative effect. Macrogolglycerol may cause gastric discomfort and diarrhea.
The product should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding without consulting your doctor.
It is advisable not to eat or drink immediately after taking the syrup because this removes the protective layer from the mucous membranes of the oral cavity and throat.
