It has a highly appreciated, intense perfume with sweet-floral notes. It brings benefits for the skin, having toning and astringent properties, it is helpful in skin problems of an infectious or fungal nature. It is insect repellent.
The Bourbon geranium comes from Madagascar, it is a type of geranium whose fragrance differs from that of the Egyptian geranium, having more pronounced floral notes but also more delicate at the same time.
There are several hundred different varieties of geranium, but only about ten provide essential oil in usable quantities.
An elevating essential oil with a harmonizing effect on both the mental and skin levels. It relieves stress and anxiety and is considered to be a slight balancer of the hormonal system.

Method of obtaining:
By steam distillation from the aerial parts.

Characteristics:
Clear fluid liquid, colorless slightly yellow-green color.

Olfactory description:
Sweet floral scent, similar to that of roses, intense.

- creams, lotions, gum for skin lacking tone and elasticity;
- formulation of perfumes, eau de toilette, body spray;
– creams, ointments for stretch marks, circulatory problems;
– hair lotions;
- massage oil for tense states, nervousness, emotional imbalances;
– 5-7 drops in bath water;
- in the candle or vaporizer to create a harmonious, romantic atmosphere.
