The ATIX tick removal kit (spray and tweezers) is a medical device that, given its classification and properties, can be used for both humans and animals.

By inducing a strong cryogenic effect, it causes an immediate and effective reduction of the tick's metabolic activity (freezing), which limits and prevents the transmission of the parasite's body fluids, which may contain pathogenic microorganisms, into the host's body.
A simple application allows for quick and safe removal of ticks using the attached tweezers.
Effectively prevents the transmission of tick-borne diseases when removing parasites from the skin.

Mode of use

When applying, it is necessary to hold the container in an upright position. The opening of the dispenser nozzle must be directed towards the tongs so that the flow of the preparation mainly hits the area around its head. by pressing it, it is necessary to hold the dosing nozzle until the end of the application time of the entire dose. The application must be repeated depending on the need and the size of the tick, but no more than 3 applications at a time. Using the included tweezers, hold the mouth side of the tweezers as close to the skin as possible and slowly pull vertically upwards. After removing the tick, it is advisable to treat the affected area with a suitable disinfectant.

Forceps size/recommended number of doses: 1-2 mm/1 dose, 3-4 mm/2 doses, 5 mm/3 doses.

In addition, it is recommended to monitor the affected area for a month to see if redness appears on the skin where the tick was attached, which may gradually spread (in this case, it is necessary to immediately consult a doctor).

Warning: Keep out of reach of children. Do not use directly on the skin, do not use in case of hypersensitivity to cryotherapy. Use only according to the instructions for use! The container is under pressure, protect from the sun and heat above 50°C.
