Description
Avilin Spray adhesive dressing (90 ml) is a sterile aerosol agent used as a dressing on damaged skin. The medical device creates a special barrier on the surface of the skin, becoming a well-adherent dressing that protects the wound from the external environment.
The preparation does not degrade, so it has a long-lasting effect, constantly supporting the processes of granulation and epithelization. Granulation, i.e. secondary (or delayed) healing, is the process of forming granulation tissue, a natural substrate necessary for skin and epidermis regeneration. Epithelialization occurs simultaneously and involves the movement of epidermal tissues into the wound.
Avilin Spray has physicochemical properties that make it easier to stay on the damaged skin (mainly due to the high viscosity of the substance). The dressing thus created protects the wound against water loss and helps maintain gas exchange and proper wound pH.
