BioGaia® Protectis are probiotic tablets with strawberry flavor for adults and children from 3 years of age. They contain a patented strain of proven active Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis® (DSM 17938) bacteria that helps create and restore a natural balance in the digestive tract.

L.reuteri Protectis® health-promoting bacteria naturally colonize the human body, adapt well to this environment and persist. One tablet contains at least 100 million active Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis® bacteria .

Extensive safety studies of live active L.reuteri Protectis® bacteria have been conducted and all studies have shown that administration of L.reuteri Protectis® is safe.

Dosage

The usual dose is 1 tablet per day, regardless of age. Take 2 tablets a day during and after antibiotic treatment. BioGaia® tablets can be chewed, swallowed or dissolved in the mouth. Do not give to children under 3 years of age.

Storage

In a dry place, at a temperature of up to 25°C and out of the reach of children. Use by the date indicated on the package.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

This product can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Bulking agent (isomalt), sweetener (xylitol), L.reuteri DSM 17938, palm oil, strawberry flavor and flavor enhancer (citric acid).
